Our story
At Good Shepherds Cultural & Welfare Association (GSCSWA) is a non-profit organization located in Kuwait, dedicated to serving the Indian expatriate community, especially the Goan diaspora. We are passionate about making a difference and empowering individuals and communities to thrive. Our mission is to promote cultural understanding, preserve heritage, and advance social welfare through collaborative initiatives, advocacy, and community engagement and we work tirelessly towards achieving our goals every day.
Founded in 2014, Good Shepherds Cultural & Welfare Association has grown into a dynamic force for good, raising funds and awareness for causes that matter most. Whether it's providing aid to those in need, or promoting cultural understanding, we are committed to making a meaningful impact.

Our aim is to become the premier community organization in Kuwait by actively promoting social
welfare, preserving our rich cultural heritage, fostering educational opportunities, raising healthcare
awareness, and empowering members of our community.
Our mission
Our mission is to:
- Advance social welfare and offer assistance to those in need.
- Preserve and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Goa and India.
- Support educational initiatives and youth development programs.
- Organize healthcare awareness campaigns and medical outreach efforts.
- Encourage and promote volunteerism within the community.
- Strengthen connections between Kuwait and India.
